Title: About Rounding Numbers
Author: Shih, Andy
Abstract: In mathematics, rounding numbers in a calculation is the process of eliminating non-significant digits and making adjustments to the last recorded digit. The resulting rounded number has a similar value in magnitude but with fewer digits in comparison to the original number. The intention behind rounding numbers is to correct the number in terms of accuracy relative to significant figures.
